OZ funds present opportunity for family offices

Not so fast, cautions DJ Van Keuren at Forbes. Just because it’s an opportunity fund doesn’t necessarily make it a good investment. Never lose sight of the fundamentals when looking at projects within an opportunity zone.

He also warns that while funds are already popping up, the IRS regulations have not yet been finalized.

Update 12/12/18: DJ Van Keuren joined the Opportunity Zones Podcast to discuss Opportunity Zone Investing for Family Offices.
