GTIS Partners Launches Second OZ Fund

After raising $630 million in one of the largest OZ funds to date, GTIS Partners has announced the launch of its second Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF). The GTIS Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund II will be open to accredited investors on July 1, with a minimum investment of $100,000. This fund will be structured as a REIT.

The new fund will continue the strategy of the first GTIS OZ fund, which has invested in 15 projects that include multifamily, single family rentals, and industrial real estate. Those projects are primarily located in the Southeast and Southwest United States.

“We are excited to continue our investment strategy utilizing the tremendous tax benefits of Opportunity Zones,” said Tom Shapiro, President and Chief Investment Officer of GTIS Partners. “We believe that residential and industrial fundamentals remain attractive especially in an inflationary environment, and look forward to capitalizing on the opportunities we have in our pipeline.”
