For more than a decade, Arctaris has managed four impact funds that provide capital to operating businesses in low-income communities. In March 2019, Arctaris was awarded $15 million in commitmentsfrom the Kresge Foundation to help the firm launch a principal-protected Opportunity Zone fund. The fund plans to make growth equity investments in small- to medium-sized operating businesses in manufacturing, renewable energy, and telecom, in addition to real estate infrastructure.
