The team at OpportunityDb has officially launched OZ Insiders, a mastermind group for high-performing Opportunity Zone executives, professionals, and investors.

The new private community was created by Jimmy Atkinson, the founder of OpportunityDb, and Andy Hagans, host of The Alternative Investment Podcast.

Members of OZ Insiders can access several membership benefits, including an OZ-focused chat group, invitations to exclusive in-person events, and monthly member meetings.

Member meetings will feature Masterclasses which are taught by Opportunity Zone experts. The first Masterclass, held on November 16, was titled “Tax Free Capital Gains (QOFs, QSBS, 1031s & More).” Upcoming Masterclasses include “Structuring Opportunity Zone Deals,” to be held on December 11, and “Opportunity Zone PPMs & Subscription Docs,” to be held on January 8, 2024.

Co-founder Jimmy Atkinson believes that the new mastermind group will be popular in the Opportunity Zones community, with several “early access” members already joining the group ahead of its public launch. “Opportunity Zones are a relatively new program, and it can be hard to stay in-the-know, and connect with other high-performing OZ professionals,” said Jimmy. “This community will be an easy and effective way for doers and leaders in the OZ world to connect, trade notes, and learn together.”
