The city of Ranson, West Virginia welcomes the idea to develop affordable multifamily housing. So in our efforts to solve a problem while serving a need, we worked diligently to identify several areas within this opportunity zone to help address the rental market shortages.
We are working on site-control for the 108 unit construction project. Also being considered for this deal is a joint venture with a LIHTC syndicator, in the event no opportunity zone investor commits, or if opportunity zone investor does not wish to sign on for future build outs.
Residents will share an entryway with home owners of the Fairfax Crossing community and Potomac Marketplace tenants - Home Depot, Kohl;s, Petco, State Farm, and Valley Health Center.
